Page Builder updates – Version 2.0

Beaver Builder 2.0 has been released. The Page Builder gets a new look yet it won’t be unfamiliar for existing users. Everything about this update is about performance, and speeding up your workflow. It’s a joy to work with.

1. A fresh new User Interface (UI)

A redesign without making it unfamiliar, giving you a much neater way of building your web pages.

2. Smarter Settings Panel

The settings panel has been completely overhauled.

Everything has been reorganised when adding new things to your site.

The settings panel is movable around the screen, you can “dock” it to either side of your screen which is great for large monitors. You can drag it away to undock it.

You can maximise, minimise and change the size of it and it remembers your setting for next time you open it.

3. Preview mode

Quickly Preview your work by hitting the P key on your keyboard.

You can also check medium and small device layouts here.

4. Undo – The life saver!

We now have the holy grail! An undo button! For to go back to an earlier revision of your page click on down arrow key at top left and then click on “Revisions” option.

5. Performance Boost

The new page builder is much, much faster. Everything loads faster, most of the saving is done in the background as you continue to work.

You can now go from one module to another without clicking save. The page builder saves your work as you go.

6. Duplicate Columns

You can now duplicate columns with a single click. The same way we can duplicate rows.

7. Changing Row Widths

You can now change the Row Content Width individually. Simply dragging the “handles” on the row, you can also adjust this in the row settings.

8. Darker UI

Great for night time work, click down arrow at the top left to access the Tools Menu and then click on “Change UI Brightness” option. Or use the Keyboard Shortcut “O”.

9. Keyboard Shortcuts

Speed up your work with keyboard shortcuts. A full list of shortcuts is in the Tools Menu (top left).
