Creating Screen recordings with Loom

Here at Blue Dog, we love making and doing things the simplest and easiest way possible. So it’s no surprise that we really advocate for tools that make our digital life uncomplicated.

We love communicating with our clients but sometimes, it’s just so hard for them to describe and explain what they want to do via text or email, especially if there are issues on their websites. Consequently, we also find it difficult to address their concerns properly.

In order to eliminate this dilemma, we recommend to our clients a tool that we really are a fan of,  it is a screen recording tool called Loom. It allows you to instantly record, edit and share your videos. Instead of explaining it in a long and boring email, now, we can just show it to them!

This tool lets us and our clients save a looooot of time and you know what’s even better? It’s free! All you need to do is add the extension for Loom to your Google Chrome browser, sign in with either your Google account or any other email account and you’re good to go! Just click the extension to start recording your video (the extension can mostly be found at the top right of your Google Chrome browser). On the recording, you can capture yourself, anything on your screen, or both! When you’re done, your video is automatically copied to your clipboard and ready to share. Amazing, right?

We also have here a quick video for you which summarizes the entire process of using Loom:
